Gloria Care Haven provides non-center-based Community Engagement services designed to help individuals with developmental disabilities participate in meaningful activities and experiences throughout their communities.

Services are delivered in real community settings rather than a center. Each person's schedule, pace, and activities are individualized — shaped by what matters to them.

Community Participation

Supporting individuals while participating in community activities and local events.

Recreation & Leisure

Helping individuals explore recreational activities based on their interests and preferences.

Social Development

Creating opportunities to practice communication, social interaction, relationship-building, and community participation.

Independent Living Skills

Supporting development of practical skills that can increase confidence and independence in everyday community environments.

Health & Wellness Activities

Supporting participation in appropriate fitness, recreation, wellness, and healthy lifestyle activities.

Educational & Cultural Experiences

Helping individuals access libraries, museums, educational programs, arts, cultural activities, and other community resources.

Community Exploration

Helping individuals discover local businesses, attractions, parks, restaurants, shopping centers, public spaces, and community resources.

Volunteering & Community Contribution

Where appropriate and consistent with the individual's goals, helping individuals explore opportunities to contribute to their communities.
